CSV Editor

Paste or load delimited data, edit cells in a bounded browser grid, add rows or columns, and download the revised CSV locally.

Edit CSV in a bounded local grid

The grid is designed for practical edits, not as a replacement for a full spreadsheet application. The original source is never modified; downloads create a new CSV copy.

Columns
For performance, the editable preview is capped at 80 rows × 30 columns. Larger source tables can still be opened, but edits outside the rendered preview are not exposed in this focused editor.

Private browser-first tabular workflow

v10.78 connects viewing, editing, validation, cleanup, conversion, joining, reshaping and spreadsheet import/export around the established CSV/Excel tools. Text and supported workbook files are handled in browser memory; large files remain limited by device memory and browser rendering cost.

CSV and spreadsheet boundaries

CSV has no universal schema or type system. Delimiter detection and type summaries are practical heuristics, while repairs create a new copy instead of silently altering the source. Excel conversion focuses on cell values and simple worksheets rather than promising perfect preservation of formulas, macros, charts, external links, formatting or every workbook feature.

How to use this CSV Editor

Edit CSV or TSV cells in a browser-local spreadsheet grid, then export a normalized CSV copy without uploading the data.

  1. Enter, paste, upload, or choose the inputs shown in the tool above.
  2. Adjust the available options for the result you need.
  3. Review the output before copying, downloading, or using it elsewhere.
