Webcam FPS Test

Choose a camera, run a timed local frame sample, and compare actual preview FPS, median frame interval, jitter, and captured resolution without uploading video.

—Measured preview FPS
—Median frame interval
—P10–P90 spread
0Frames sampled
—Track-reported FPS
—Actual video size
—Timing stability
—Nearest common FPS
Choose a camera and start the testThis measures frames that reach the browser preview. Camera exposure, browser scheduling, system load, video constraints, and driver behavior can all change the result; it is not a sensor laboratory measurement.

Camera track settings & frame-cadence evidence

Read the active MediaStreamTrack settings and sample delivered video frames so requested resolution and measured delivery cadence stay separate.

—Track resolution
—Reported frameRate
—Frames sampled
—Measured cadence

Browser-local does not mean laboratory measurement

These pages can report Web API data such as events, stream settings, frame timing and audio samples. They do not certify hardware condition or bypass browser and operating-system limits.

Camera frame delivery uses actual video-frame callbacks when available

requestVideoFrameCallback is preferred so camera-delivered frames are not confused with display animation frames. Track-reported frameRate remains separate from measured browser-visible delivery.
