What this XML step proves
XML and JSON do not have identical data models.
What to review before handoff
Repeated siblings map to arrays and attributes/#text use explicit conventions; mixed content and namespace semantics may need manual review.
Convert parsed XML to readable JSON, then review XML structures that may not round-trip cleanly through the JSON data model.
Check structure, namespaces, repeated records, mixed content and remote-looking references. Converter pages review generated XML output when that is the handoff artifact.
Reviewing current XML…
Browser DOM parsing checks well-formedness and structure. It is not an XSD/DTD/business-rule validator, sanitizer or permission to trust remote resources; this review does not fetch external schemas or entities.
Make XML-to-JSON loss/shape choices explicit before conversion. Review attributes, repeated sibling elements and mixed text, then choose attribute and array policies so consumers know how the JSON structure was derived.

XML has attributes, ordered children and mixed content that JSON does not represent natively; this contract exposes those choices rather than hiding them.
