Five-Letter Feedback & Next-Guess Lab

Replay up to six five-letter guesses exactly as you saw them. The engine applies Wordle-style duplicate-letter feedback, derives minimum and maximum copy counts, filters a browser-local candidate pool, then measures potential next guesses by exact feedback partitions.

1. Enter completed guess rows

Type a guess, then click each tile to cycle gray → yellow → green. Gray is interpreted per row: if another copy of the same letter is colored, the gray copy caps the answer's count instead of excluding the letter entirely.

Recent local summaries

Saved sessions are explicit browser-local storage and may contain the guesses you entered. Summary history stores only timestamp, row count, candidate count and top evaluated probe. The settings-only link excludes guesses and history.

Truth boundary. This Studio proves consistency against WebToolArc's bundled word lists and computes exact feedback partitions for each evaluated probe. The bundled “common” list is not an official New York Times answer list, the full dictionary includes words a particular game may reject, the ranking does not reveal today's answer, and shortlist-based probe ranking is not a proof of globally optimal multi-turn strategy.

Enter clues → filter → inspect → retry

Use strong constraints first, then inspect the candidate set. Bundled word lists are practical helpers rather than official tournament or publisher dictionaries.
