Breadcrumb Schema Generator

Build breadcrumb structured data locally and review JSON-LD structure before publishing.

ReadyOutput is generated locally in your browser.
Structured data is not a rich-result guaranteeUse markup only for content that is visible and true on the page. Google eligibility also depends on feature-specific rules, content policies, crawlability, and validation after deployment.

Breadcrumb Schema Generator: JSON-LD Validation

Build BreadcrumbList JSON-LD and audit position order, duplicate URLs, absolute URL validity and item depth.

Visual breadcrumb preview & order check

Review the visible trail, move a level up or down, and verify absolute URLs and duplicate destinations before copying JSON-LD.

Search-engine boundaries

Local markup checks cannot know what a crawler fetched, rendered, indexed or selected as canonical. Search engines may rewrite title links/snippets, choose different canonicals, ignore invalid or ineligible structured data, and apply live HTTP/robots conditions that are not present in pasted text. Treat these tools as pre-publish QA, then verify live behavior with the relevant search-engine tools.

Publication preflight, not an SEO score

Generated or pasted SEO data is checked for concrete structural conflicts, malformed values and handoff risks. The tool does not predict rankings, indexing certainty or rich-result eligibility.

Practical guide and verification

Match the markup to the visible navigation

Breadcrumb structured data should describe a hierarchy that is genuinely represented on the page or site. Generating valid JSON-LD does not make an invented breadcrumb trail appropriate for publication.

Use absolute canonical-style URLs

Each breadcrumb item should normally point to an absolute HTTP or HTTPS URL that represents the intended page. Relative URLs, malformed schemes and duplicate destination URLs are worth fixing before copying the markup.

Keep the order from broad to specific

Position 1 should be the broadest level and the final item should represent the most specific page in the trail. Use the visual preview and reorder controls to catch a level that was pasted in the wrong place.

Validate after the page is actually deployed

Local generation can verify structure, order and obvious URL problems, but it cannot know what a crawler rendered, indexed or selected as canonical. Run the published page through the relevant search-engine validation tools after deployment.

Do not confuse eligibility with ranking

Breadcrumb markup can make page hierarchy machine-readable, but correct structured data is not a ranking guarantee. Search engines decide rich-result eligibility and presentation independently of this local generator.
