Detect & clean invisible Unicode

Inspect the test box for hidden or space-like Unicode code points and build a cleaned preview without pretending platform support is universal.

Practical guide and verification

Invisible does not mean absent

Unicode contains characters that may occupy no visible glyph or appear only as spacing or direction controls. They can still affect string length, comparison, cursor movement and rendering.

Different characters have different roles

A zero-width joiner, zero-width non-joiner, word joiner, non-breaking space and directional mark are not interchangeable. Removing one blindly can change emoji composition, language shaping or line wrapping.

Common mistake

Do not diagnose every “mystery space” as the same code point. Inspect the actual Unicode value before replacing or deleting it.
