Important Unicode boundary. “Invisible” does not mean meaningless. ZWNJ and ZWJ can change text shaping or emoji sequences; WORD JOINER changes line-break behavior; U+2063 can carry mathematical semantics; U+FEFF is primarily a byte-order mark at the beginning of text. Some apps normalize, preserve, strip, or reinterpret these characters, so inspect the destination rather than assuming identical behavior everywhere.
