Use the reference as a lookup table
Letters and digits use standardized International Morse patterns, while punctuation and accented characters can vary by convention. For translation, separators still matter: spaces between symbols, letters and words must be interpreted consistently. Use the translator when you need automatic parsing rather than manual lookup.
ITU reference separated from extensions
Letters, figures, punctuation and the multiplication-sign alias are distinguished from common non-ITU extensions, with searchable/exportable reference data.
International Morse boundary
WebToolArc follows ITU-R M.1677-1 for the International Morse alphabet and the 1-dot / 3-dot / 7-dot spacing relationships. Common extensions are labeled separately, and learning-oriented Farnsworth spacing changes gaps without changing dit/dah character speed.
