Timing reliability & session audit

Capture the current duration, state and projected finish, then run a short local clock-integrity check. This reads the existing timer controls; it does not replace the timer engine.

Configure the timing tool above, then refresh this audit.

Alarm sound & repeat

Professional three-note finish cue. The default is intentionally audible and repeats until you dismiss it.

Sound system loading…

WebToolArc can use the browser's full configured output level, but it cannot override a muted tab, muted device, system-volume limits, Bluetooth routing, browser background throttling or device sleep. Test the sound on the device you will actually use.

Designed for talks and projected screens

Choose a preset or enter the talk length, then press Start. The progress ring shrinks continuously as time passes and changes to amber and red near the end. Fullscreen centers the timer and removes setup controls so the time stays readable from across a room.

Useful shortcuts

Space starts or pauses, R resets, and F toggles fullscreen. The countdown uses a target end time rather than subtracting a fixed amount per animation frame, which reduces drift if browser updates slow down.

Practical guide and verification

Use the tool first, then apply these checks to verify the inputs, interpret the result, and hand it off without displacing the primary workflow.

Set warning thresholds from the speaking plan

Amber and red thresholds are most useful when they correspond to planned transitions, not arbitrary percentages. If a talk has a fixed conclusion or Q&A segment, reserve that time first and set warnings around the speaker actions you want to trigger.

Test the alarm before the room is quiet

Browser audio can be affected by muted tabs, device routing, system volume, autoplay rules, and presentation hardware. Use the built-in sound test on the actual device and output path before relying on the timer in a live room.

Keep fullscreen behavior and dismissal reachable

Fullscreen can improve visibility across a room, but the speaker or operator still needs a clear way to dismiss an alarm and recover from an accidental start. Verify the controls at the same zoom level and display resolution that will be used during the presentation.

Treat browser timing as a presentation aid

Background throttling, sleep, device load, or a suspended tab can affect browser timers. The clock-integrity audit helps detect drift, but a high-stakes broadcast, exam, or contractual timing requirement should use an appropriate dedicated timing system as the authority.
