Classroom privacy and projector workflow
v10.76 keeps classroom rosters and picker state browser-local and adds connected no-repeat/partner workflows designed for projection. Use minimal display names or nicknames when possible and avoid student IDs, contact details, health information, grades, or other sensitive records.
Teacher-judgment boundary
Random pairing and keep-apart constraints are convenience tools, not classroom-management or student-assessment systems. Accessibility, support needs, safety, relationships, and learning goals still require teacher judgment; the tool does not infer them.
How to use the Classroom Name Picker
Save a class roster locally, mark absent students temporarily, then pick students. “Call everyone once” keeps already-picked students out of the available pool until you reset the round.
What the tool does
Use display names or nicknames only when possible, keep the roster in the browser, and complete a no-repeat participation round without uploading student information.
Practical limits
Roster data remains in this browser unless you explicitly copy it elsewhere. Avoid exposing personally identifying student information in public links, screenshots, or shared devices.
