Measure vocabulary variety

The basic type-token ratio divides unique normalized word forms by total words. Root TTR, corrected TTR, and Herdan C add alternative views because ordinary TTR usually falls as a text sample gets longer.

Compare similar sample lengths

Lexical-diversity metrics are sensitive to tokenization, inflection, language, genre, and sample length. Use them as descriptive signals rather than universal writing-quality scores.
