Counts run locally in your browser. When available, word, sentence, and grapheme segmentation uses the browser’s Unicode-aware Intl.Segmenter; fallback rules are used on older browsers.

Vocabulary & syllable context

See frequency and syllable estimates together so repetition and word complexity are easier to interpret.

English syllable counts use a heuristic. Names, abbreviations, borrowed words and pronunciation variants can differ from a dictionary or spoken reading.

Word Frequency Counter: Density & Stopword Audit

Analyze word counts with stopword filtering, minimum length, lexical diversity, top-term density and copy-ready frequency evidence.

Independent text evidence audit

Recount the current text with a separate browser-local evidence layer. It reads the existing tool input; it does not replace the primary counter or send text anywhere.

Enter text in the tool above, then refresh this audit.

Core counting & writing metrics

Start with the broad counter that matches the question, then move to focused frequency, reading-time or syllable analysis. Specialist readability, repetition and writing-goal tools remain available from the full hub.

Text and Unicode limits

Editorial title-case rules have edge cases, syllable counts are heuristic, Unicode style substitutions depend on font/app support, and normalized or visually similar Unicode text is not automatically safe or equivalent. Structural XML comparison should use the XML-aware engine rather than a raw line diff.
