Gantt Chart Maker

Type or paste tasks, then shape a clear browser-local timeline with drag, resize, dependencies, milestones, progress, critical path and fast export. Advanced scheduling stays one click away.

Type the work. Shape the timeline.

Add or paste tasks, resize bars, link finish-to-start work, highlight the critical path, and export a clean schedule without an account.

Advanced schedule controls — dependency types, owners, phases, baselines, import and full project data

Use this when you need SS/FF/SF links, lag, owner/phase filtering, baselines, JSON/SVG export, or the full table editor.

Gantt Planning Studio

Build an editable project schedule with tasks, milestones, progress, owners and dependency logic. Auto-schedule FS/SS/FF/SF links, inspect critical-path slack and baseline slip, then export or share a portable project without an account.

Task editor

Edit dates and duration directly. Timeline bars can also be dragged horizontally; focused bars respond to ←/→ keys. Milestones use zero duration.

Dependency editor

Add multiple finish-to-start (FS), start-to-start (SS), finish-to-finish (FF) or start-to-finish (SF) constraints with positive or negative lag. Cycles are rejected before they corrupt the schedule.

Interactive timeline

Critical-path tasks are highlighted. Progress is drawn inside task bars. Drag bars/milestones to reschedule, or use the table's ±1 day controls for precise mobile changes.

Project data stays in this browser unless you explicitly export or copy a portable link.

Planning boundary: Critical path here is a deterministic precedence-network calculation from task durations and dependency constraints. It does not perform enterprise resource leveling, stochastic risk simulation, cost accounting, multi-calendar scheduling or real-time team collaboration. For contractual/operational schedules, reconcile exported dates with the authoritative project system.

Core data-to-chart workflows

Start with Graph Maker or CSV Chart Maker, then use a focused chart type when the visual question changes. Keep source data and export evidence connected instead of treating a rendered picture as the only record.

Practical guide and verification

Model the work before styling it

A useful Gantt chart starts with tasks, dates, durations, dependencies, milestones, and ownership. Colours and labels help readability, but they cannot repair an unrealistic schedule model.

Dependency check

When one task depends on another, move the predecessor and confirm the downstream schedule still makes sense. A chart with visually aligned bars but impossible dependencies gives false confidence.

Common mistake

Avoid treating every task as independent or assigning the same start date to all work. That can make the chart attractive while hiding the sequence that actually controls delivery.

How to read this chart

A Gantt chart maps tasks to explicit start and end dates.

Before publishing

Review task dates, dependency direction, milestone timing, baseline slip and the overall calendar span. The Studio recalculates dependency-aware schedules interactively; exported files are snapshots rather than a live collaborative project system.
