Radar Chart Maker

Compare values across three or more dimensions and export the radar chart as SVG or PNG.

Wave123 · multi-series + scale audit + export

Radar Chart Studio

Compare multiple profiles without hiding the scale assumptions behind the polygon. Edit axes and per-axis maxima, switch between combined and small-multiple views, normalize transparently, import spreadsheet data locally, and export the chart together with the values that produced it.

    Normalized evidence table

Keep the numeric values with the visual. A radar polygon is not an aggregate score and its area is not comparable unless the axis design makes that interpretation valid.

    When radar charts work

Use them for a small number of profiles measured across the same conceptual dimensions, with explicit ranges and stable axis order.

    When they mislead

Mixed units, arbitrary maxima, crowded overlays and reordered axes can materially change the perceived shape. Use the normalized table or a grouped bar chart when exact comparison matters more.

    Combined vs small multiples

Overlay a few series for direct profile comparison. Switch to small multiples when fills or lines start hiding each other.

    Privacy and persistence

Imported data is parsed in this browser. Snapshots use local browser storage only. Settings-only share links exclude data, titles and snapshots.

    Accessible summary

Measurement boundary. WebToolArc renders the values and normalization rule you provide; it does not verify that the underlying measurements, weights, units or maxima are scientifically comparable. Per-axis normalization makes shapes easier to compare but can conceal absolute-unit differences. For publication, preserve the numeric table and source methodology.
Ready. Chart data stays in this browser unless you intentionally export it.

    Core data-to-chart workflows

Start with Graph Maker or CSV Chart Maker, then use a focused chart type when the visual question changes. Keep source data and export evidence connected instead of treating a rendered picture as the only record.

Focused radar and spider chart workflow

Paste or import a comparison matrix, document each axis maximum, choose shared or per-axis scaling, inspect the normalized values, then export SVG/PNG plus the numeric CSV evidence. The page is designed around the core radar-chart job rather than a generic chart template.

    Comparable scales first

Canva and Flourish emphasize multi-variable comparison, while dedicated tools such as BeCharts and FastChart expose direct data-entry and export workflows. WebToolArc adds an explicit scale audit because axis ranges can change the apparent shape even when the raw values do not.

    No hidden cloud requirement

CSV, TSV, JSON, Markdown and XLSX parsing happens in the browser. Project files and snapshots are optional local handoff mechanisms; no account is required for the chart workflow.

    How to read this chart

Radar charts compare several metrics around a shared radial scale.

    Before publishing

Use at least three non-negative axes and normalize metrics when their scales differ greatly; otherwise polygon shape can mislead.
