v10.84 connects page organization, merge/split, rotation/deletion/extraction, conversion, compression, annotation, forms, metadata, page sizing, N-up/booklet/poster printing, comparison, and repeated header/footer work without replacing the established historical PDF engines.

PDF processing boundaries

These tools operate within browser memory and the capabilities of pdf-lib/pdf.js and the existing local engines. Encrypted, malformed, scanned, XFA, unusual forms, complex signatures, OCR-dependent documents, and advanced desktop-editor features can require specialist software. Always verify generated files before discarding the source.

How to use this PDF Annotator

Preview each page, add browser-local review marks with click or drag gestures, undo changes, and download the annotated PDF.

How it works

The PDF page is rendered in the browser for positioning, while the downloaded output is written as PDF content with browser-side JavaScript libraries. Source files are not uploaded to WebToolArc.

Practical limits

This workflow adds new visual content rather than rewriting arbitrary existing PDF text. Large files can use substantial device memory, and advanced PDF features may be better handled in a full desktop editor.
