Page resizing changes geometry

Resizing PDF pages can mean changing page boxes, scaling page content, or both. Those operations are not equivalent, so decide whether you need a new sheet size, scaled artwork, or just a different visible crop.

Aspect ratio

Scaling content from one aspect ratio to another can add margins, crop content, or distort the page. Preserving aspect ratio with deliberate fit/fill behaviour is usually safer than stretching.

Print considerations

For print, check target dimensions, orientation, bleed, trim, and whether marks should remain outside the final page. Office-size conversions and commercial print resizing have different goals.
