How to read this chart
Histograms group raw observations into numeric bins.
Before publishing
The bin rule can materially change the shape. Blank source text no longer becomes a zero observation, and the review reports count/range/median.
Paste numeric observations, choose Sturges, Freedman-Diaconis, Scott, square-root or manual bins, and inspect the generated distribution locally.
Paste data or load a local CSV/TSV file. The file stays in this browser tab.
Create a chart to inspect the parsed data.
Review the source structure, chart-specific interpretation risks and a copyable accessible summary. The chart itself remains the primary workspace above.
Reviewing the current data…
This review checks structure and common interpretation risks; it does not prove that the source data, measurement method, denominator, units or conclusion are valid.
Start with Graph Maker or CSV Chart Maker, then use a focused chart type when the visual question changes. Keep source data and export evidence connected instead of treating a rendered picture as the only record.
Inspect the distribution as raw frequencies. Recompute a transparent bin plan from the pasted numeric sample, expose range and bin width, then list frequency and relative frequency so a histogram remains a distribution-shape tool rather than a cumulative chart.
| Bin interval | Frequency | Relative | Interpretation |
|---|
Histogram bars represent interval frequency. Cumulative percentages belong to the ogive workflow and are kept separate here.
