Text Cleanup & Line Tools

Sort Lines

Use the focused sorter for ordering, then clean line whitespace and blank rows in the same browser-local workflow.

Text cleanup runs locally in your browser. These tools operate on plain text lines; structured CSV/JSON/XML and regex workflows remain in their dedicated tools.

Cleanup options

Run the available cleanup steps without re-pasting the text.

Multi-mode line sorter & order audit

Use the comparison model that matches the data: alphabetical, natural filename/version order, numeric value, line length or source reversal. Locale-aware collation, optional deduplication and an order audit make the result inspectable before it is copied back into a file or spreadsheet.

Natural order treats embedded digit runs numerically. Numeric mode parses each entire trimmed line as a number and places non-numeric lines after numeric values. Locale-aware ordering uses the browser Intl.Collator implementation.

Text and Unicode limits

Editorial title-case rules have edge cases, syllable counts are heuristic, Unicode style substitutions depend on font/app support, and normalized or visually similar Unicode text is not automatically safe or equivalent. Structural XML comparison should use the XML-aware engine rather than a raw line diff.
